- Arrival prasadam: Soup and bread will be available before the evening programme (from 3.30pm) on 26th Dec.
- There will be a service roster for the 8 days. Most devotees will be engaged in some way. Please check notice boards carefully.
- There are limited washing facilities at each accommodation site. Please try to bring plenty of clothes to minimize washing needs.

For overseas guests, sets of bedding are available at $20pp for the whole stay. Please note on your registration if you require this option.
Krishna Kunja / Gaura Haven
Pillows, pillow cases & bottom sheet are provided. You must bring own sleeping bag or blankets.
No bedding available for hire.
Campers
Note: If you are camping at any of the above retreat centers you must bring ALL your own bedding.
- Torch
- Sun hat
- Slip on shoes for your convenience
- Warm clothes (it can get pretty chilly in this hills)
- Raincoat or umbrella
- Swimming wear (each accommodation site has its own access to the Otaki River with large swimming holes)
- Insect Repellent
Prasadam Meals
At the Recharge Festival we try to provide a variety of fresh, healthy & tasty meals to please Krishna, the devotees and our guests.
We do cater for special diets where possible. On the registration form please note if you are dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free or peanut-free.
Accommodation
There are four main accommodation sites:
- New Gupta Vraja:
Krishna Kunja – men-only dormitory style; on-site
Gaura Haven – reserved for special bookings Riverslea Retreat Centre – dormitory style accommodation; 4min drive, 20min walk.- Waihoanga Retreat Centre – dormitory style accommodation; 3min drive, 15min walk.
- Strathean Retreat – Rooms suitable for couples, families & some single rooms. This is a 10min drive from Krishna Kunj. Vehicle is essential.
Mens & Ladies facilities will be allocated once all attendees have registered.
The Festival management team will try their utmost to accommodate everyone’s needs but, with a rapid increase in festival attendees every year, the accommodation is tight. Those who confirm attendance and pay first will receive first priority for room allocations.
The rooms at all accommodation venues will be pre-assigned.
On arrival, simply find your name posted on one of the room doors.

Transport
Travelling from Australia?
For those guests travelling from our main centers in Australia (Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney), we encourage you to create a travel group amongst yourselves and look into hiring a mini-van. This will serve as transport to/from the airport as well as to and from the daily programs.

For those devotees who are not travelling in a group and will require transport assistance from the airport to the festival please contact us – rechargefestivalnz@gmail.com – as soon as you have your flight details confirmed.
Please provide your name, flight number, and exact arrival & departure times.
When booking flights please try at arrange arrival times before 2pm on 26th December and departure times after 2pm on 1st and/or 3rd January. Very late and very early flight times will be difficult to assist with.

Fees & Registration
While payments for the festival are not due until 1st December, please register now so we can plan accordingly.
NB: All payments are due by 1st December. Anyone who has registered but not paid by 1st December will incur a $50 late fee.
